so this is the third year i've participated in the MS 150 bike ride in the coastal town of new bern, nc. though i have to be a show off and do 200 miles instead of 150.
anyway... the first year the second day was cut short due to high winds from hurricane ophelia.
now we have tropical storm gabrielle sitting off the coast ready to douse us all day.
grrrrrrr.
but today was beautiful. and it was a great ride. and the hotel is right on the marina. where the water is in its proper place.
